Critical Reflection

In a blink of an eye, we have come to the end of our effective communication module. Looking back, I have definitely made a conscious effort to step out of my comfort zone whilst partaking in class activities. In my first blogpost, I talked about how I tend to avoid confrontation when conflict arises within a group. Even though my group did not face any conflicts (thankfully), I found myself opening up to my group members and projecting my thoughts in areas which I felt could be improved on. Though it may not seem like much, this counts as quite an improvement for me. Despite initially feeling overwhelmed by the many projects and assignments in this module, I can certainly say that had it not been for the peer teaching or project presentation, I may not have been able to identify my area of weakness in public speaking. All in all, I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to take this module in the first trimester of my first year so as to prepare me for upcoming projects
